The R.357 (Taurus Raging Bull Revolver .357 Magnum) is a Medium class revolver designed to deal high damage per shot and very high headshot damage at close to moderate distances.
Usage
The R .357 can be selected as the weapon of any Medium build loadout.
The trigger can be pulled to fire one bullet that damages an opponent, also dealing additional damage on headshots. The trigger must be released before firing again. Aiming down sights increases the R .357's accuracy. Moving decreases accuracy, especially when going airborne.
The weapon automatically reloads when its magazine is empty, or the user can do a tactical reload before this point. The user has unlimited spare ammunition.

Full Reload — Replaces the entire magazine in one animation on reload.

Strategy
Strengths
- The R .357 has a very strong headshot multiplier, dealing double the damage of a body shot.
- Headshotting a Light contestant leaves them with just a sliver of health.
Weaknesses
- The R .357's small magazine size makes missing a shot very punishing.
- The R .357's damage falls off severely at moderate to long distances.
- The iron sights on the R .357 offer limited visibility, but using them is mandatory to have any accuracy.
Tactics
- Firing should always be done while aiming down sights, unless the target is extremely close. Doing so greatly increases the accuracy of the R .357.
- The magazine of the R .357 should be topped up whenever possible. One bullet missing in the magazine could mean the difference between winning or losing an engagement.
Mechanics
Hitscan
When the weapon fires a shot, a target is scanned for using a hitscan. This is a detection mechanism that scans in a straight line, meaning there is no bullet drop. The direction of this line will be deviate randomly from the direction of the crosshairs, depending on the accuracy level at the time of firing.
Immediately, the closest contestant, structure, object or shield intersecting the hitscan will be tagged as being struck. First, a bullet tracer animation quickly travels from the weapon to the hit location, then its effects are applied. This means it is possible for targets to be struck a few frames after they appear to take cover, as the hit is confirmed the moment the weapon is fired.

Trivia
- The R .357 exists in real life as the Taurus Raging Bull, a revolver manufactured by Taurus International, a Brazilian arms conglomerate, since 1997.
- See also: List of Gun Origins.
- The "R" in R .357 stands for "Revolver".
- The .357 in R .357 refers to a .357 Magnum, the weapon's cartridge. However, in reality, the Taurus Raging Bull that the R .357 is modeled after is chambered in .44 Magnum.
- During beta testing, the R.357 had a different model, being modeled after the Colt Python which is appropriately chambered in .357 Magnum. However, with the model change to Taurus Raging Bull, the weapon's name was not changed to reflect the appropriate cartridge.
- The R.357 was first seen in the full first trailer for THE FINALS, which was released on September 27, 2022.
